Typing the digits of a character

The trick: every digit is a picture

Take the first five digits of π. Each digit picks one picture, and together they make one friend you will not forget.

Two hundred friends like this one are the first 1,000 digits of π.

How it works

  1. 1

    Learn the code

Five small picture tables. Ten pictures each. A few minutes and you can read any friend.

  2. 2

    Meet the friends

Every friend is five digits. You learn them five at a time, one block of the street.

  3. 3

    Follow the story

A short, silly story links each friend to the next, so the order sticks too.

  4. 4

    Play a little every day

A session is four quick games, about three minutes. The app picks what you need most.

11 quick games

Each one trains a different part of your memory, on Easy, Normal or Hard.

Table Sprint
Face Flash
Snap Back
Spot the Impostor
Address Tag
Who Lives Next

Mastery Test

Not only π

The same picture code works for any number you want to keep in your head.

Your numbers

Type in a phone number, a door code or a birthday. PiFriendz turns it into characters and trains you until you know it by heart.

History dates

50 moments from history, from the first flight to the first steps on the Moon. Each date is two characters in a little story, with its own picture.
